App Privacy Policy

The short version
Defense IQ trains your eyes, not our database. Your training data lives on your phone. We don't sell data, don't run ads, and don't track you.
What the app stores — on your device
- Your Defense IQ scores, training progress, accuracy records, and rep history
- Your subscription status and preferences
This information stays on your device. We don't access it unless you use the optional online features below.
Optional online features
If you opt into the leaderboard, the app creates an anonymous account for you and sends the display name you choose, along with your Defense IQ score and tier, to our server (hosted on Supabase). Nothing else about you goes online.
Subscriptions & payments
All payments go through Apple or Google directly — we never see or store your payment information. We use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service, to confirm whether a valid subscription is active; it receives only a non-identifying purchase token, no personal details. (RevenueCat's privacy policy.)
What we don't do
- No selling of data — to anyone, ever
- No third-party ads
- No access to contacts, photos, location, or microphone
- No tracking across other apps or websites
Deleting your data
In the app: Settings → Delete Account & Data. Anything stored on our servers from the optional online features is removed within a reasonable period.
