App Privacy Policy

The short version
Defense IQ trains your eyes, not our database. Your training data lives on your phone. We don't sell data, don't run ads, and don't track you.
What the app stores, on your device
- Your Defense IQ scores, training progress, accuracy records, and rep history
- Your subscription status and preferences
This information stays on your device. We don't access it unless you use the optional online features below.
Optional online features
If you opt into the leaderboard, the app creates an anonymous account for you and sends the display name you choose, along with your Defense IQ score and tier, to our server (hosted on Supabase). Nothing else about you goes online.
Subscriptions & payments
All payments go through Apple or Google directly. We never see or store your payment information. We use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service, to confirm whether a valid subscription is active; it receives only a non-identifying purchase token, no personal details. What we don't do
- No selling of data, to anyone, ever
- No third-party ads
- No access to contacts, photos, location, or microphone
- No tracking across other apps or websites
Ad measurement
When the app is advertised on TikTok, Apple's SKAdNetwork reports that an install came from an ad. That report goes to Apple and to the ad network as a count. It carries no name, no email, no device identifier we can read, and nothing about how you use the app. You can turn off ad tracking for every app in iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking.
Children
Defense IQ is made for football fans of every age, and it is built so that it does not need to know who you are. The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. There are no accounts, no chat, and no way to enter a name or email inside the app. Purchases go through Apple, which handles age and parental controls on its own.
Deleting your data
In the app: Settings → Delete Account & Data. Anything stored on our servers from the optional online features is removed within a reasonable period.
